On 03/05/2022, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded around 3:00 a.m. to a domestic disturbance and shots fired call at a home in the 18000 block of Fairy Wren Lane in Richmond. A woman reported that her husband fired a weapon at her during a dispute. Deputies removed the woman and two children from the residence and established a perimeter. Deputies requested Fort Bend Regional SWAT and a crisis negotiator. After several hours of negotiations and standoff activity, deputies entered the home and located the man deceased inside. Authorities did not release his name or the specific medical cause of death in initial reporting.
