On 04/14/2022, Guilford Police Department officers responded to Fitch Hill Road after a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance involving a firearm. Officers arrived at the residence and located Keith Neal outside the home. According to police, Neal was armed during the encounter. Officers opened fire and shot him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Connecticut State Police assumed control of the investigation into the use of force.
