On 04/12/2022, Stockton Police Department officers responded to the area of 99 Frontage Road and Moreland Street after reports of an armed man near a commercial property. Officers located Cory Croslow at the scene. Police stated Croslow was armed during the encounter. Officers opened fire and shot him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office began the investigation into the shooting.
