On 05/13/2022, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 317 Chestnut Hill Rd in New Boston for a report of an armed individual. Deputies encountered Michael Foley outside the residence and opened fire during the encounter, striking and killing him. The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office led the investigation and later identified Foley as the individual shot.
