On 05/25/2022, Houston Police Department officers responded to the 10800 block of Cora Street after reports of a disturbance involving an armed man. Officers encountered the man outside a residence. Police reported he displayed a firearm during the encounter. Officers discharged their firearms and shot him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office and HPD Internal Affairs Division opened an investigation.
