On 07/18/2022, law enforcement located Christopher David Price, who was wanted in connection with the July 15 fatal shooting of Erreese King Jr. at Harb’s Market in Knoxville. When officers attempted to take him into custody, Price ran into a residence in the Cedar Bluff area and barricaded himself. During the standoff with officers outside, he shot himself. Authorities confirmed he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The death occurred during the active police operation to arrest him.
