OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 08/25/2022, law enforcement officers responded to Lind Commons Apartments on East Lind Road in Tucson following a report of violent activity during an eviction. Pima County Constable Deborah Martinez-Garibay and apartment manager Angela Fox-Heath were serving an eviction notice when Gavin Lee Stansell, 24, opened fire, killing both women and neighbor Elijah Miranda, 25. After the shootings, Stansell shot and killed himself inside his apartment. Officers arriving at the scene confirmed his death and conducted the investigation.
