On 09/26/2022, deputies from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded in Pensacola to locate a murder suspect. When law enforcement made contact with the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Jarrad Landry, he shot himself. Landry was later pronounced deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No deputies were injured during the incident.
