OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 10/14/2022, Westminster Police Department officers attempted to pursue a vehicle reported stolen. The driver fled from officers, leading to a high-speed pursuit through Westminster. The pursuit ended near the intersection of Westminster Boulevard and 92nd Avenue when the stolen vehicle crashed. After the crash, the driver exited the vehicle and shot himself. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
