On 10/21/2022, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies and assisting law enforcement agencies searched a remote desert area east of Yucca for Hunter McGuire, who was wanted in connection with multiple killings in Arizona and Nevada. After hours of search activity following a vehicle pursuit, deputies located McGuire deceased in the desert with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Authorities stated the wound was self-inflicted.
