OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 12/20/2022, Bossier City Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Parkland Villa Apartments on Shed Road in Bossier City, where a 43-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound and later died. Detectives identified her ex-boyfriend, Rodney Drew Clim, 48, as the suspected shooter. Officers located Clim’s vehicle and attempted a traffic stop around midnight. Clim refused to stop and led police on a pursuit that crossed into Texas. He then shot himself and was taken to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where he died later from the self-inflicted gunshot wound.
