OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A man allegedly hit his brakes in front of a Rialto motorcycle officer, causing him to fall. Police interpreted this as an attack and began chasing the vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer was treated and released by several law enforcement agencies were looking for the man who had hit him. SWAT got a search warrant. The man tried to flee and fired shots at them when they appeared. Two officers fired back, killing him.
