NARRATIVE:
On 04/16/2021, 35-year-old Lafe Benjamin Parsley of Linden was killed when the 2003 Toyota Camry he was driving left Marengo County Road 54 and struck a tree approximately three miles south of Demopolis, Alabama.

The crash occurred late Friday night, shortly before 11:00 p.m., as Parsley traveled on Marengo County Road 54 just south of the Demopolis city limits.

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers, Parsley's Toyota Camry left the roadway and struck a tree. The collision caused fatal injuries, and Parsley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesman Reginal King publicly identified Parsley and provided details of the fatal crash. ALEA's Highway Patrol Division investigated the collision.
