NARRATIVE:
On 07/04/2021, an unidentified man in his early 20s was killed while riding as a passenger in a Ford F-150 pursued by San Antonio Police Department officers in San Antonio, Texas. The F-150 driver and an uninvolved man driving a Chevrolet Equinox were also killed.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., San Antonio police responded near North St. Mary's Street and East Martin Street to reports of gunfire. Police reported hearing additional gunshots coming from the F-150 and attempted to stop it. The driver continued away from police with the deceased riding as his passenger.

The F-150 traveled the wrong direction on the Interstate 35 frontage road and entered southbound I-35 through the McCullough Avenue exit ramp, traveling north against traffic.

At approximately 2:20 a.m., the F-150 collided head-on with an uninvolved Chevrolet Equinox near the I-35/U.S. 281 interchange. The passenger, F-150 driver and Equinox driver were pronounced dead at the scene.
