NARRATIVE:
On 06/27/2022, an unidentified woman in her 20s from Novi was killed along with an unidentified man in his 20s from Wixom when their vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train at Central Avenue and John Kronk Street in southwest Detroit.

Shortly before the collision, Detroit police were breaking up a street-racing and drifting gathering. Police radio traffic documented vehicles leaving the scene in multiple directions.
