NARRATIVE:
On 07/12/2022, 34-year-old Bobby Knight Jr. was killed when the Honda Rebel motorcycle he was riding crashed during a Texas Department of Public Safety pursuit in Austin.

At approximately 2:10 a.m., a DPS trooper attempted to stop Knight near the U.S. Highway 290 service road and Cameron Road. Knight continued riding and the trooper initiated a pursuit.

The pursuit continued toward Interstate 35. On the northbound I-35 frontage road at Rundberg Lane, Knight's motorcycle collided with a Hyundai Elantra.

Knight suffered critical injuries and was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The occupants of the Hyundai were also transported to a hospital for evaluation of possible injuries.
