NARRATIVE:
On 09/02/2022, 41-year-old Jonathan Denham of LaGrange was killed when a Dodge Durango fleeing Cobb County police struck his Honda Pilot head-on at Roosevelt Highway and Delano Road in South Fulton. Denham was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pursuit began after Cobb County police alleged that the Durango nearly struck an officer who was on foot during a felony traffic stop on Interstate 285. Officers pursued the Durango into Fulton County.

The Durango exited at Camp Creek Parkway and continued onto several roads before entering Roosevelt Highway. Police lost sight of it. The driver subsequently traveled on the wrong side of Roosevelt Highway and struck Denham's Honda head-on.

Denham was driving home after visiting friends and family. He had called his wife shortly before midnight to tell her he was on his way. Denham and his wife had married on Valentine's Day earlier that year. He was the father of ten children and stepfather of two.
