NARRATIVE:
On 09/24/2022, 34-year-old Timothy Ogden of Clayton, New Jersey, was fatally injured when a vehicle driven at high speed by Gerald J. White crashed into the Honda Civic in which Ogden was riding at Burk Avenue and Atlantic Avenue in Wildwood during the unsanctioned H2Oi car rally.

White was fleeing an earlier motor-vehicle crash when his 2003 Infiniti collided with the Honda at approximately 9:36 p.m. Ogden was critically injured and transported to Atlantic City Medical Center, where he died. Eighteen-year-old pedestrian Lindsay Weakland was also killed.

The collision occurred amid the H2Oi gathering, where police had been deployed throughout Wildwood in response to dangerous driving, street racing and numerous crashes.
