OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A deputy pulled over a vehicle and found out the driver did not have a license. The deputy tried to take the person to the patrol car and the person resisted. The deputy became physical and tried to arrest them by force. Both landed on the ground, wrestling over an attempted arrest. The deputy claims the person “reached for their waistband” and the deputy shot and killed them. Of course, a gun was found next to the dead body. Awaiting BWC to see if anyone reaching for their waistband can be identified.
