OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Alejandro Faudoa was driving a semi-truck and was pulled over for an alleged traffic violation. According to police, an “altercation” took place and police shot and killed Faudoa. No more information was released. Police made no claims that he had been armed. By all known information, he cooperated and stopped his vehicle for the traffic infraction stop, presumably a ticketing offense. Police did not explain why he was killed during this traffic stop. His mother complains that police have refused to give her any information. She states that police never notified her of her son’s death and that she had to find out on her own. She is unable to get her questions answered and does not know whether any video footage of the strange event exists and why police are not sharing any information with the family. She believes her son was innocent and demands that police video footage be released.
Alejandro Faudoa was engaged to be married a little more than week before he was killed. Per GoFundMe, his family states:
n September 20, 2023 his life was tragically cut short. On that day, Alejandro was shot and killed by an Oklahoma state trooper during a traffic stop while heading eastbound on the Turner Turnpike in his semi-truck tractor. According to news reports, Alejandro was pulled over at approximately 8:22 a.m. At approximately 8:35 a.m. the trooper advised the communications center shots had been fired by the trooper. Little to no information has been released explaining in detail why Alejandro was pulled over or what happened in those 13 minutes.
