Police were sent on a call to check on a domestic disturbance. A window had been opened. Police entered and a woman told them “Mike did it”, referring to the window. Police found Michael Strenk in the kitchen holding an unknown type of kitchen knife. Officer Terni shot and killed him. No more information was initially released. The shooting was ruled a homicide by the coroner.
