Summit County deputies saw a vehicle belonging to a man they were looking for who had open warrants. Police escalated a chase into Wasatch County where the man stopped and exited the vehicle. Police shot and killed him, stating he had held a “large blunt object” in his hand. The object was not identified, nor was the nature of the warrants.
