OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
The Scottsdale PD’s Special Assignment Unit alleges that they happened to be in the area of Horne and Broadway when they spotted a man holding someone hostage in a vehicle. Police further allege that one of the men went inside of the restaurant and they stormed the vehicle to save the man being held and killed the him. He was identified as Rene Calderon.
