Thomasville PD saw a man who had open drug warrants and escalated a high-speed chase through town which ended when the man crashed and killed bystander Jennifer Ferrell who was a third-party motorist waiting at a stop sign. Ms. Farrell had been a beloved wife and mother and one-time local Wendy's worker.
The local black community is very upset about this reckless police chase witnessed by locals. Interviews are linked below. Residents describe a police chase at very high speed that "flew by, ran stop signs" and crashed at very high speed.
