Garden Grove PD saw a pickup truck in Garden Grove that had some vehicle code violations. This was the reason given for LAPD initiating a high-speed chase from Garden Grove that ended in Costa Mesa when the vehicle crashed and caught on fire with an unknown number of police vehicles and a police helicopter hunting it. The male driver committed suicide under police duress.
