OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Albuquerque PD chased a shoplifter in a sting that police called “Operation Sticky Fingers.” Loss prevention detectives at Kohl’s and Albuquerque PD saw a couple stealing retail items inside of Kohl’s and took up chase. Police said he “produced some sort of gun” and they shot and killed him. Police did not identify what the alleged weapon was.
