A woman called 911 and said a man with a gun had threatened her at an Arco station and that she had locked herself into the station. Police arrived and a shootout with the man ensued. A Victorville sergeant shot and killed the unnamed man. The officer was stable with gunshot wounds to his legs from the man firing back at him.
