The Shelby County SO tried to make a traffic stop. A truck drove away. Police began chasing and the vehicle made a U-turn and crashed into oncoming traffic. The driver was killed. Two people were rescued from the third-party vehicle in critical condition and their survival is unknown. Police did not say if anything reasons besides refusal of traffic stop were their reasons for the deadly chase.
