OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Elkhart PD and SWAT raided an Elkhart home at 731 Franklin Street with a drug search warrant. Police got into a shootout with the resident and Cpl. Jon Carver received an apparently minor injury. SWAT assaulted the home with CS gas and other methods and finally forced entry into the home, finding Danny Lee Davis dead from suicide under police duress.
