Police received a family request for a welfare check at 4862 ½ Clark Road. When they arrived, the man refused to come out. Police eventually heard a gunshot. Police sent a drone but failed to observe anything. The Clinton County Special Ops team arrived. A fire was seen coming from the home. When police gained entry, they found the man dead from self-inflicted gunshot under police duress.
