OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Little Rock PD received a call about a suicidal male named Elbert R. Miller. When officers arrived, they questioned the girlfriend who told them that there were weapons inside the home. Police tried to force him out and eventually invaded the home. Miller was seen running from the home with a gun to his own head. It is unclear at this point whether he committed suicide or was shot by police who may have escalated the event. Officers Larry Mears Jr. and Scott Hampton were named as shooter officers. No officers were charged.
