OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Jamie Lepore had killed his wife Jennifer Lepore and then traveled to Tennessee with their 2 children, 11-year-old Sean Lepore and 9-year-old Jesse Lepore.
Madison County investigators found them in Rutherford County and asked the Murfreesboro Police Department for assistance. Police heard gunshots inside the home when they were seen arriving. Jamie Lepore had shot and killed his 2 children and then himself. The shooting of Lepore’s wife is not listed in this space as it happened outside of police operations but the killing of the children and suicide occurred under police duress and is listed for this reason. No officers were charged.
