Devin Shay Cribbs was driving when Vernon PD rammed his car after a failed traffic stop that started as a pursuit inside the town of Vernon and went into the southern part of Lamar County.Cribbs allegedly exchanged words with the officer who shot and killed him before he could fully exit the vehicle. Cribbs had been unarmed.No officers were charged.
