OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Police responded to a 911 call by an elderly man who said his son had broken a light fixture and was threatening him. When Bulloch County deputies arrived, he refused arrest and a fight broke out when police tried to forcibly arrest him. He was tasered and he reportedly tried to defend himself by firing a gun and was shot dead in his home. No officers were charged.
