Phoenix PD allege that an unhoused man with scissors came toward them and they shot and killed him near 35th Avenue and Broadway Road.Someone had called in a possible burglary and officers had found the man in a nearby alley holding a pair of scissors. Police fired multiple taser rounds at him and he walked toward them. Police shot and killed him. Police did not identify him publicly.Body camera video related to the incident was released by Phoenix Police on Jan. 17. No officers were charged.
