Gridley PD officers allege that Baltazar Rubio created a family disturbance, attacked family with a pair of scissors, entered another home and stole a gun. Police found him holding the gun and Sgt. Eva Smith, officers Garrett Maulden and Anthony Lara shot and killed him. No officers were charged.
