Avondale Police officials said at around 12:30 p.m. they received a call about shoplifting near Dysart and Buckeye roadsat a Dollar store. An Avondale Officer located a man nearby matching the description and ended up shooting and killing him after the man wrestled free from the officer and took off running. The officer fired 5 bullets, killing Ronnie Hill. The man is believed to have been unarmed.
