Palm Bay PD were called to a home on Tucson Road SW around 12:30 a.m. on 02/21/2023 when a woman called and stated that 46-year-old Michael Dishong was threatening her and other people inside the home with a gun. Palm Bay PD and SWAT arrived and Dishong isolated himself in the backyard with a rifle and a handgun. Police allege that he refused to cooperate and SWAT shot and killed him.
