LAPD chased a vehicle at high speeds because they felt it was connected to a previous crime. Police escalated the chase and the vehicle they were after ran a red light at Roscoe and Lindley in Northridge and crashed into 19-year-old college student Erick Barbosa-Guardado, killing him. No officers were charged.
