College Station PD conducted a wider sting operation of multiple local residences and an unknown number of officers entered a residence in the 900 block of Spring Loop in College Station, TX. Police allege that Mark Bennett Hopkins fired a shotgun at intruding police and was shot dead by officer Dakota Norris. It is unknown how many officers participated. Police state that this was one of multiple simultaneous raids on several residences. The officers were cleared by a Grand Jury and shooter officer Dakota Norris has returned to work.
