OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Multiple Lakewood Police cars responded to a report that two teen girls had robbed a mail carrier at gunpoint in the 400 block of South Oak Street. Several items were taken and police found one of the girls at a Grease Monkey about a block away. Police initially said that the girl fired shots toward the officers. Later Monday night, they revised their statement to say that she merely pointed a gun at them. They're still investigating whether she fired any shots.Several of the officers then fired, killing her.
