OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On March 25, Moore PD was patrolling through the parking lot of a hotel in the 1700 block of N. Moore Avenue and reported a ‘suspicious’ vehicle and determined that the vehicle was stolen. Police allege that the man armed himself with a knife and ran away. The officer caught him as he was trying to jump a fence. Police allege that he threatened police with the knife and the officer shot and killed him.
