Walled Lake PD escalated a chase when a driver caused a traffic violation. The fleeing vehicle ran a red light, crashed into 3 vehicles and a 13-year-old girl was killed and several other people were hurt. The poor decision to escalate a fatal chase for a ticketable offense was not formally questioned and the office was not charged.
