New Martinsville PD approached a GMC truck it deemed “suspicious” sitting behind Country Roads Ford in New Martinsville sometime after midnight. Police found the man had 4 warrants. He fled. Police escalated a dangerous high-speed chase that started in New Martinsville for hours through Marshall County involving several law enforcement agencies including 3 sets of spike strips that ended with the man committing suicide under police duress near Waynesburg Pike in Moundsville.
