OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Border Patrol allege that they saw what looked like undocumented migrants being loaded into a BMW and they began chasing the vehicle. The vehicle avoided a traffic stop and initially fled but came to a stop. CBP smashed the rear and front windows with a baton and grabbed the man. Several occupants ran from the vehicle, were handcuffed, were polite and cooperative and not a threat to officers. Police allege that the driver reversed and was shot and killed. This is not seen on BWC as the end of the incident when the shooting occurred has inexplicably been edited out of the footage provided by police. No report of him having been armed can be found.
