On Monday evening on 03/07/2023, Garland PD allege they were trying to pull over a white car on South Jupiter Road, but the driver took off and police initiated a chase. The brief chase came to an end in the 3900 block of Glenhaven Drive when the vehicle drove up into a front yard. The driver got out of the vehicle and reportedly produced a handgun and police claim that he began shooting at them. Garland PD fired shots and killed him.
