OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Fresno PD attempted a traffic stop on Roberto Corchado and claim he fled. Police then escalated a chase, used a PIT maneuver and Roberto Corchado allegedly fired shots at them while they were chasing him, then tried to flee on foot. Corchado was running away with his back to the officers when officers Bryce Hammond and Luke Tran shot him from behind and killed him. Around 30 detectives were seen canvassing the scene and after some searching, they produced a gun, alleging it had been Corchado’s.
