OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
The Ada County Critical Incident Task Force acted on a call that a possibly unhoused man was walking around wearing a tarp, using a cane and looking over neighborhood fences. Police responded with aggressive maneuvers, also unleashing two K9 on him. He tried to defend himself against the attacking dogs by pulling a knife and allegedly caused some unknown injury to them. Police shot and killed him.
