OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Miami-Dade PD officers arrived on the scene of another shooting and found Donovan Adrian Watson locked in his apartment. SWAT used a robot to enter the apartment. They state Watson shot the robot and also fired at officers. Miami-Dade Police officers and the department's Special Response Team swarmed the complex in the 19800 block of Southwest 114th Avenue and shot and killed him. A neighbor, Jean Gutierrez, 39, was also shot and killed, apparently by Watson.
