An off-duty St. Gabrielpolice officer named Andre Redditt entered a Denham Springs home overnight and fired multiple rounds at Dylan Martin who was a visitor in the home. The officer left Martin to die and drove to the hospital where he was treated for stab wounds he had sustained in the murder. Officer Andre Redditt was arrested for the alleged murder of Martin and was charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
